MiniMax II
Dual Test Socket Handler
with tray Stacker
The MiniMax II is a configurable test cell. Test socket hardware attaches to the large open base plate, and one or two pneumatic press fixtures mount to the rigid overhead frame. The robotics are hidden behind the overhead frame and allow the vacuum head to approach from behind. The system supports power and pneumatics for one or two test sockets, and contains a JEDEC tray stacker capable of handling a wide variety of tray heights. Dual Test Socket Handler

Additional highlight features include:
- Safety/security enclosure with door switch
- EMO button
- Three device rotor with software support for:
1. Golden device (contains known good device to validate test
hardware upon failure)
2. Incomming untested rotation and pre-stage while waiting for
the next test socket to be available
3. Tested device rotation before returning to tray.
- Anti-backlash motor driver firmware to improve accuracy
- Super rigid welded steel frame
